About the role
The role of Party Planner involves organizing and executing various social events for a community organization. Key responsibilities include coordinating event details, managing guest lists, and ensuring smooth execution of events.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate event details including venue selection, date scheduling, and budget management.
- Manage guest lists and ensure RSVPs are accurate and communicated effectively.
- Ensure all necessary preparations are made in advance, including decorations, food, and entertainment.
- Handle logistics such as transportation arrangements and emergency contacts.
- Communicate with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality services are provided.
- Assist in post-event evaluations and feedback collection to improve future event planning.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of event planning experience.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or related field.
- Experience working with community organizations or similar settings.
