Party Event Host

Event Coordination

• Coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and other craft classes.
• Create and implement party add-ons such as goody bags, balloons, etc.
• Facilitate and instruct party participants in craft projects.
• Perform face painting and other activities.
• Communicate with clients about events and store team members.
• Adjust plans and events based on client feedback and needs.
• Create backup or emergency plans as needed.
• Ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events.

Customer Service

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast and friendly checkout experience.
• Educate customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Complete enrollments and assist with Omni channel processes.
• Participate in truck un-loading, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.
• Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner.
• Remain positive and respectful, even in difficult situations.
• Promote commitment to the organization’s vision and values.
• Project a positive image and serve as a role model for other Team Members.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
• Ability to move throughout the store.
• Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
• Lift heavy boxes and access high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.

Physical Environment

• Work in a public retail store setting.
• All public areas are climate controlled.
• Some stock rooms may not be climate controlled.
• Sometimes work outdoors, e.g., retrieving shopping carts or unloading trucks.
• Frame shop contains glass cutter and heat press.
• Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.
