Event Coordination
- Coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and other craft classes or events.
- Create and implement party add-ons such as goody bags, balloons, etc. to company standards.
- Facilitate and instruct party participants in the completion of craft projects.
- Perform face painting and other activities.
Customer Service
- Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
- Provide fast and friendly checkout experience.
- Educate customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
- Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.
- Complete administrative tasks such as answering emails, making phone calls, and completing paperwork as needed.
Operational Tasks
- Communicate events with clients and store team members.
- Adjust plans and events based on client’s feedback and needs.
- Create backup or emergency plans to be executed as needed.
- Ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events.
- Uphold the company’s cleanliness and safety standards.
- Set up, break down, and clean before and after each event.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
- Ability to move throughout the store.
- Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
- Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
Physical Environment
- Work Environment: Public retail store setting taking care of our customers; all public areas are climate controlled; some stock rooms may not be climate controlled; some outdoor work if assigned to retrieve shopping carts or while unloading trucks.
- Frame shop contains glass cutter and heat press.
- Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.

- Experience working with children and children’s events.

- Organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Retail and/or customer service experience required.
