Horton, Inc. has an opening for a Parts Washer/Clutch Pack position at its Britton, SD location. This is an hourly position with a starting wage of $23.35 per hour (depending on experience) plus a shift premium of $1.25 per hour. The role involves washing parts to remove coolant, oil or other material that would interfere with painting or other production operations, maintaining correct inventories through data entry, visually inspecting parts, assembling products, and transporting baskets of parts/units to staging or finished goods areas. Responsibilities
- Uses a parts washer to de‑grease metal parts.
- Records quantities of parts in productivity software and delivers loaded baskets to the stock room area or other designated area and places in proper location.
- Puts parts away in designated locations.
- Ensures parts are labeled correctly.
- Performs assembly functions.
- Exhibits and performs basic personal computer functions in various software systems.
- Reworks units which fail to pass quality control checks.
- Provides training in work methods, procedures, and work instructions to employees.
- Performs other duties as directed by manager.
