CURTIS-TOLEDO® facilities include a 144,000 square foot facility in Saint Louis, Missouri, as well as facilities in Houston, Texas, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, San Diego and Los Angeles, California.

Responsibilities

• Performs a combination of tasks including receiving, filling, shipping, and inspecting orders accurately and in a timely manner
• Efficiently and safely loads, unloads, and conveys materials
• Optimizes loads to ensure operational efficiency
• Transports incoming and outgoing materials to designated areas utilizing appropriate tools/vehicles
• Performs quality inspections on incoming and outgoing materials and products
• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined inventory procedures
• Picks, packs, and ships materials and products
• Processes all packages for shipping; processes returned merchandise
• Conducts physical inventory counts; replenishes stock from back-up locations as needed
• Maintains a safe, clean working environment
• Participates in quality improvement efforts
• Performs required administrative tasks; prepares all required reports

Requirements

• Familiarity with shipping practices and handling methods
• Forklift certified
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Firm commitment to excellence and high standards
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Detail oriented and highly organized with the ability to prioritize duties and responsibilities
• Self-motivated, resourceful, and adaptable; able to work independently within team focused environment
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
• Proficient on Microsoft Office
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Interpersonal savvy; able to collaborate and work closely with others
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong understanding of how to create highly satisfied customer
• Ability to follow established policies and procedures with a safety-first attitude
• Broad level of safety, health, and environmental rules and regulations, policies and procedures
• Willingness to work hours outside of the standard schedule as needed, with appropriate notice when possible
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 software; SAP experience preferred
