Parts Warehouse Person

Due to our continued growth, Service expansion, and high customer demand, we are hiring a Parts Counter Person Trainee to join our fast-paced Parts Department. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to learn the automotive industry, build a career, and grow into a commission-based role.

Pay

Minimum wage. After successfully completing training, there is potential to earn commission based on performance and position eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, stocking, picking, and shipping parts
• Assisting with packing and unpacking inventory
• Responding quickly to technicians’ parts requests
• Researching and locating products for customers and service staff
• Running inventory reports to help maintain accurate stock levels
• Professional handling of phones and counter sales as needed
• Effectively communicating with employees, customers, managers, vendors, and the public
• Warehouse duties as needed
• Possible porter duties as needed, including helping move vehicles or supporting dealership operations

Qualifications

• Ability to identify issues quickly and problem-solve
• Basic knowledge of automobiles (or strong willingness to learn)
• Ability to learn new technology, systems, and automotive procedures
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods
• Positive, friendly attitude and commitment to customer service
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Auto parts or customer service experience (preferred, but not required)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Detail-oriented with a professional appearance and strong work ethic
