Parts Warehouse

About the role

As a Parts Warehouse for Power Motive Corporation, you will have a critical role in our heavy equipment Parts Departments overall success. The Parts Warehouse role is responsible for the efficient, safe, and profitable operation of the parts department by managing the receiving, storing, and shipping of heavy equipment parts and accessories. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely with forklifts and other equipment. The role ensures correct parts are delivered to customers and vendors on time, maintains accurate inventory records, and supports overall warehouse efficiency for our region.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads merchandise from trailers
• Lifts cartons and other items frequently
• Selects and picks product for shipment and will call
• Matches goods received with purchase orders
• Occasionally run Parts to customers
• Ensures accuracy of all goods handled through record verification matching inventory to order numbers
• May operate power equipment including: forklifts, pallet jacks
• Prepare merchandise for shipping using shrink wrap and banding tools
• Projects a positive company image by interacting with fellow employees, customers and management in a cooperative, supportive and courteous manner; displays a professional attitude while complying with company policies and procedures
• Maintain a clean, orderly and professional work area
• Perform other duties as directed

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED or equivalent work experience is preferred
• Active Drivers License
• Minimum 18-years-old
• Experience 1-2 years working in a Parts Department or Parts Warehouse Facility Strongly Preferred
• Ability to write, work on, and record daily logs, inventory counts, and shipments
• Good computer skills. Proficient in Microsoft Suites Preferred
• Knowledge of Safety procedures
• Good organizational ability
• General understanding of mechanical/technical terms/parts
• Must be able to work overtime with little or no notice

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 7:00AM-4:00 PM or 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (shift is as needed, with overtime)

Work environment

Warehouse setting with heavy equipment parts, forklifts, and potential exposure to industrial environments. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Physical requirements

• Must be able to stand and walk 8 or more hours per day
• Bending, reaching, twisting, pulling, kneeling and lifting are continuous essential functions of the job
• Will lift from 1-75 pounds from floor to five feet level and team lift heavier items
• Normal physical agility is a must
• Requires the use of both hands
