Parts Specialist - Miller, SD

C & B Operations, with 38 John Deere dealerships across 6 states, is seeking a Parts Specialist for our Miller, SD location. This role involves selling, receiving, and delivering parts and accessories in a fast-paced environment. Outside sales development potential is available for the right candidate. Will participate in on-call rotation during seasonal hours.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and sells products and/or services on and off-site to meet customer needs
• Supplies Service Technicians with parts as required
• Assists with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays
• Verifies receipting-in of shipments and assists with placing Machine Down and Stock Orders in their proper inventory locations
• Assists in keeping parts department clean and orderly
• Follows up on shortages and expedites issues by reporting to the manager
• Assists in maintaining all departmental tools, equipment, and vehicles are in good working order

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record
• Ability to meet physical demands (sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling)
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Basic parts and machinery knowledge
• Basic data entry/keyboarding skills
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Forklift operation experience preferred
• Prior parts sales experience and John Deere equipment knowledge is a plus
• Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug test and background check
