Parts Specialist - Diesel Maintenance Shop

About the role

Miller Truck Leasing is hiring a Parts Specialist to join our diesel maintenance shop in Logan Township, NJ. Our business is growing, and we're looking for the right people to grow with us!

Responsibilities

• Assess type of parts needed and assist mechanics in finding the right part for the job
• Research required to obtain replacement part stock numbers
• Fulfill orders from stock or place orders as needed
• Assist with daily inventory, receiving, stocking, and shipping
• Maintain a clean, organized stock room
• Provide exceptional customer service and add value to the team and organization

Requirements

• Parts and inventory experience in a commercial truck leasing maintenance shop desired (not required)
• Basic understanding of diesel and/or automotive components and systems
• Previous diesel and/or automotive service technician experience a plus (not required)
• Team player with excellent communication skills (oral and written)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Computer skills for invoicing, posting, and parts look-up

Schedule

Monday - Friday from 7:00 AM until 3:30 PM

Pay

$19 - 25 hourly
