Parts Specialist

Role: Parts Specialist Location: Milford, OH 45150 100% Onsite Duration: 12 Months Must Have Skills 5 12 years of experience as a Parts Specialist Nuclear / Defense industry experience Export Control experience PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) BOM Management Document Control & Management Standard Part Creation & Lifecycle Maintenance Engineering Change Requests / Change Management BOM Where-Used Analysis Part families, attributes, lifecycle status, alternates & supersessions ITAR experience Key Responsibilities Create new parts and maintain existing BOM structures based on approved engineering changes. Initiate and manage change requests for parts and standard components. Collaborate with Engineering to resolve PLM promotion and release issues. Perform BOM where-used analysis and maintain part lifecycle data. Update part attributes, interchangeability, supersessions, alternates, usage rules and reference documents. Restore retired child parts to active status based on approved Engineering and configuration management requirements. Identify and create alternate parts when required.
