What You'll Be Doing As a Parts Specialist, you’ll be the go-to resource for customers needing parts and accessories for John Deere and other equipment. You’ll combine hands-on service with technical knowledge to assist customers over the phone and in person. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service while supporting the overall efficiency and organization of the parts department. Responsibilities Sell, stock, receive, and deliver parts and accessoriesProvide excellent in-store customer service and support over the phoneAssist with ordering, researching, and sourcing parts for customersMaintain organized displays, promotional materials, and showroom merchandisingWork with vendors and alternate resources to fulfill customer needs efficientlyPick up and deliver equipment as neededClean and organize equipment layout, tractors, and warehouse areasMonitor shortages and expedite orders to maintain inventory levelsSupport audit compliance by ensuring accurate processes and recordkeepingCollaborate with internal teams and demonstrate a team-player mindset Qualifications What's Required Skills / Experience High integrity, reliable, and a strong team playerOrganized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environmentCustomer service focused with a positive attitude and high energyStrong communication skills, both verbal and written, with good phone etiquetteBasic computer and data entry/keyboarding skills; ability to research parts onlinePrevious parts or service experience in automotive, heavy equipment, or related industries preferredAbility to work flexible hours, including participation in a Saturday rotationMust have and maintain a clean driving record Preferred Forklift certificationFamiliarity with John Deere equipment, or other agricultural, turf, or construction machineryPrior experience in parts sales, service, or inventory management Compensation is competitive and based on skill level, experience, and knowledge. Education High school diploma or equivalent Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and reach throughout the workdayFrequent use of hands for handling parts, operating tools, computer, and phoneMust be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75 lbs. regularlyRequires close vision for reading, inventory, and computer workMust be able to communicate effectively in person and over the phoneSufficient hearing required to communicate in active warehouse and work environmentsMust be able to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (training provided if not certified)Work may involve exposure to varying temperatures, dust, and warehouse/yard environments Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
