Parts Specialist

Position Overview

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.
• Aid walk-in and phone customers with their parts and accessory needs.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the parts department in the absence of the Parts Manager – manage parts inventory, cycle counts, and ordering supplies for Service.
• Order, return, receive, and provide parts to the service department.
• Invoice parts and purchases to the appropriate service and customer orders.
• Communicate efficiently and promptly with OEM suppliers via phone and email.
• Recommend products and encourage sales while assisting customers.
• Demonstrate the ability to prioritize and work independently.
• Be available to work overtime during busy seasons, weekends are mandatory.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a repair or service facility.
• Experience and certifications with manufacturers such as Mercury, Volvo, Yamaha, etc., is a plus.
• Working knowledge of marine parts and components.
• Detail-oriented and possesses excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
• Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills while working both independently and within a team environment.
• Eager to engage in a growing, fast-paced, and industry-leading company.
• Lightspeed software knowledge is a plus.
• Strong computer skills are required.
• Forklift experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Education, Licensing & Skills

• Minimum of High School degree or equivalent.
• ASE certification is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.

Work Schedule

• Monday–Friday + Weekends (5 days per week).
• Monday–Friday schedule during off-peak season.
• Flexible scheduling.
• Overtime available.
