Key Responsibilities
- Order automotive parts accurately and timely in compliance with repair orders and insurance guidelines
- Receive and inspect parts upon delivery to ensure accuracy and quality
- Maintain organized inventory and parts storage to support smooth shop operations
- Communicate with vendors regarding parts availability, backorders, and returns
- Affiliate in managing parts returns and ensure timely credit processing
- Assist in coordinating with technicians and estimators regarding parts needs and discrepancies
- Maintain detailed records of parts transactions and inventory adjustments
- Utilize shop management software to track parts orders and inventory levels
- Ensure parts area is clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in automotive parts or collision repair environment preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Basic computer proficiency and experience with inventory or shop management software
- Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams
- Ability to lift and move automotive parts as needed
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
