Parts Specialist

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory control of all parts in the system
• Order parts as needed to ensure timely arrival
• Inspect all parts for damage upon delivery
• Return incorrect parts to vendors and secure the correct parts quickly
• Maintain a cost projection spreadsheet and coordinate with other departments on what’s needed
• Build strong vendor relationships and stay on top of order status and delivery
• Answer customer questions about their vehicles
• Help ensure tools and equipment are maintained properly

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• 1+ year of experience in parts operations
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office and Excel (a plus, not required)
• Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented
• Comfortable in a fast-paced shop environment
