Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory control of all parts in the system
- Order parts as needed to ensure timely arrival
- Inspect all parts for damage upon delivery
- Return incorrect parts to vendors and secure the correct parts quickly
- Maintain a cost projection spreadsheet and coordinate with other departments on what’s needed
- Build strong vendor relationships and stay on top of order status and delivery
- Answer customer questions about their vehicles
- Help ensure tools and equipment are maintained properly
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- 1+ year of experience in parts operations
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office and Excel (a plus, not required)
- Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented
- Comfortable in a fast-paced shop environment
