Job Description
Aid the Service Manager and Parts person with scheduling work order parts for jobs.
Take incoming customer parts calls.
Write descriptions of work performed to be used for invoicing.
Look up part numbers in technical manuals and online.
Research price and availability of parts.
Pack and ship parts to customers and function as shipper/receiver.
Maintain stock inventory and order emergency parts.
Support service manager with customer quoting and technician scheduling based on parts availability.
Qualifications
- Previous parts experience preferred.
Industrial/electrical/heavy equipment experience a bonus. - Comfortable working with a computer including Excel, Word, performing internet searches, etc.
- Good communication skills a must.
- Team player that works well with others, toward a common goal.
- Understands the value of good customer service.
