Parts & Service Assistant

Department: PartsLocation: Vermeer All Roads - Laurel Description Fantastic opportunity for a Parts & Service Assistant at Vermeer All Roads. This position is designed to assist our customers with in the parts & service departments. Bring your parts knowledge (service is a plus) into the position with an opportunity to learn and grow. We are looking for a go-getter who can wear many hats! Compensation $18 - $23/hr based on experience Schedule, dealership is open Monday - Friday 7 am-5 pm Benefits • Medical, dental, vision, disability, life and supplemental insurance offerings on the 1st of the month after 30 days of employment • 401k with company contribution • Paid time off • Company paid holidays • Tuition Reimbursement program ResponsibilitiesAssist customers in selecting required parts when neededAssist Manager with writing service work orders and communicating with shop techniciansOperate the forklift as neededUtilize CDK for parts and labor/service informationProvide price quotes, receive payments, and obtain credit authorizationsAnswer incoming calls, answer parts questions and schedule service for the customersDocument repair and service orders in the correct fashionAssist in stocking, shipping and receiving partsAll other duties as assignedPhysical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Ability to lift, carry, and otherwise transport work-related materials that frequently weigh up to 50 lbs. and that may occasionally weigh in excess of 80 lbs.
