Parts & Service Advisor
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers in person and over the phone, listen to their needs, and provide professional guidance on parts and service options.
- Advise customers on required maintenance, recommended services, and available parts.
- Provide accurate cost estimates, timelines, and updates throughout the service process.
- Aid customers and technicians in identifying and sourcing correct parts.
- Process parts orders, returns, and warranty claims accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of inventory, parts availability, and supplier options.
- Schedule service appointments and coordinate workflow with technicians.
- Create and maintain repair orders, ensuring accurate documentation of customer concerns, technician findings, and completed work.
- Monitor job progress, follow up on delays, and keep customers informed.
- Promote dealership service packages, seasonal promotions, and value-added products.
- Support upselling of parts and accessories that improve equipment performance and longevity.
- Build long-term relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in parts, service, or customer support roles (equipment, automotive, agriculture, or related industry preferred).
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Knowledge of mechanical and technical equipment (construction, agricultural, or related machinery a strong asset).
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong computer skills; dealership management systems, inventory software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience. It will include a base salary and an annual performance bonus.
