About the role

The Parts Sales Specialist at Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is responsible for assisting customers and technicians in securing parts and supplies. Key responsibilities include achieving monthly sales and gross profit forecasts, filling parts requirements, preparing invoices, maintaining stock levels, and ensuring a positive customer relationship.

Essential Functions

  • Aid customers and technicians in securing needed parts and supplies.
  • Achieve monthly sales and gross profit forecasts.
  • Solicit parts sales and maintain a favorable relationship with customers.
  • Prepare invoices for over-the-counter sales and bill parts to repair orders.
  • Maintain stock levels, receive, and ship parts, and issue local purchase orders.
  • Assist in inventory management and report any damage to company equipment or property immediately.
  • Follow safe work practices and procedures, use safety equipment when required, and assist with inventory management activities as directed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

  • One-year automotive parts-related work experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and requests in a timely manner.
