This role requires on-site attendance Monday through Friday in our Boise office.
About the Role
The Parts Sales & Warehouse Associate participates in customer visits to grow and maintain business, handles customer inquiries via phone and walk-ins, and ensures parts are provided to customers or contractors as needed. This role also manages warehouse operations, including inventory, shipping, receiving, and safety compliance.
Responsibilities
- Learn and understand the customer base and sales market.
- Actively seek new business opportunities and cultivate growth of existing opportunities via phone calls, emails, and occasional customer visits.
- Work with Thermal Sales, Operations, and Marketing to learn the market and develop customer relationships.
- Assist with customer walk-ins for parts pickups.
- Handle all common carrier outgoing and receiving freight using electric pallet stacker experience.
- Safely perform warehouse duties including stocking, picking, and packing parts.
- Print packing slips, ship orders, and complete daily invoicing for parts.
- Maintain a clean, safe, neat, and orderly warehouse, including disposing of trash.
- Oversee inventory parts management and perform physical inventory twice a year.
- Answer calls for parts, obtain part numbers and prices, and provide quotes to customers.
- Ensure parts are provided to customers or contractors on time as requested.
- Prepare purchase orders for out-of-stock parts and enter orders via manufacturer and company computer systems.
- Receipt invoices and purchase orders into the accounting system.
- Handle Thermal Service Department parts orders and replace parts under warranty as needed.
- Follow up weekly on overdue warranty returns from customers.
- Serve as backup for Parts Sales Coordinators in other DVL offices as needed.
- Conduct monthly inspections of office fire extinguishers, AED machines, and other safety requirements.
- Assist Parts Manager with inventory cycle counts.
- Follow safety standards, including hazard communication, PPE, ladder safety, electrical safety, and manual lifting/handling.
Requirements
- High school diploma required.
- Prior sales experience and comfort with growing sales in the local market.
- Some warehouse or similar inventory storage experience preferred.
- Recent class two walk-behind stacker experience preferred; willingness to learn required.
- Inventory management experience, including palletizing parts for shipment, preferred; willingness to learn required.
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds safely.
- One year of daily computer experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
- Excellent recent customer service experience.
- Experience using FedEx Ship Manager or similar preferred.
- Proven safety record with adherence to safety standards, including hazard communication, PPE, ladder safety, electrical safety, and manual lifting/handling.

Pay
The salary pay range is $21.60 - $24.00/hour plus bonus based on relevant warehouse experience.
