Parts Sales Representative - Front Counter

Responsibilities

• Handle parts order requests via telephone, email, or in-person
• Utilize manufacturer and vendor catalogs to locate parts for customers, internal and external
• Advise customers on related parts
• Follow up on backordered parts and contact customers with status updates
• Ensure inventory control practices are followed
• Communicate with Parts Manager on inventory issues
• Communicate with Service Department regarding parts availability and pricing
• Provide solutions for customer needs
• Assist with other projects as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Two (2) years of heavy truck/auto parts or shop experience
• Mechanical aptitude (desired)
• Customer service skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
