Parts Sales Representative

About the role

This position is responsible for selling our tiered portfolio of parts to customers over the counter, providing necessary parts to the service department, and placing special orders for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service to the service department, customers at the counter, or on the phone
• Meets or exceeds monthly sales goals driving sales through Aftermarket promotions
• Responsible for Inventory Integrity
• Educates and engages customers through product demonstrations and promotions
• Effectively uses computer applications including: Sales Manual, JD Parts®, Parts Expert®, JD Point®, PartsAdvisor®, barcode system, and Dealer Business System
• Communicates, executes, and monitors Parts Department standard processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction
• Maintains a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service
• Assists in keeping the parts department clean and orderly
• Assists in maintaining all departmental tools, equipment, and vehicles in good working order
• Maintains a safe working environment and adheres to the company safety program at all times
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 1+ years of Parts experience or equivalent sales or service experience
• Experience connecting with customers, maintaining a professional image, and establishing rapport
• Demonstrates a basic understanding of the selling process
• Demonstrates ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a degree of independence
• Experience using standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and internet applications
• Experience working both independently and in a team setting
• Demonstrates excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 75 lbs and routinely lifts items weighing up to 50 lbs

Pay

$18.00 - $23.00 per hour
