Parts Sales Associate

About the role

The Parts Sales Associate is responsible for assisting external and internal customers in finding the right part(s) for their medical equipment systems.

Responsibilities

• Be knowledgeable about the parts
• Identify prospective customers, lead generation and conversion
• Contact new and existing customers to discuss needs
• Emphasize the features of the parts to highlight how they solve the customers problem
• Answer questions about the parts
• Negotiate prices and terms and prepare sales agreements
• Collaborate with colleagues in many different sectors (PET CT, MRI, CT and Mobiles)
• Maintain contact lists and follow up with customers to continue relationships
• Be knowledgeable about part removals off of systems
• Provide shipping for all parts to and from the external and internal customer
• Perform sourcing of parts
• Create sales invoices and P.O.s
• Assist with CRM idea's for parts platform
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience: Minimum of one year of warehouse and parts experience required. Knowledge of parts and the industry, and experience in Shipping/Receiving also required.

Travel: Minimum travel time, if any. Valid driver's license and solid driving record for a minimum of five years required.

• Ability to work independently and provide timely results
• Proficient with MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Salesforce
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks

Physical Requirements

• Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel
• Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear
• Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
