Parts Runner (Delivery Driver) - HVAC

Duties/Responsibilities

• Pick up and/or deliver parts, tools, and equipment to job sites as dispatched through the Service Coordinators
• Load and unload shipment of parts, supplies, and equipment as needed
• Process incoming scrap and recycle materials in accordance with Company policy
• Deliver/dispose of recycled material as needed
• Assist with delivery of Quarterly filter orders
• Help with miscellaneous office maintenance and repairs, including but not limited to, snow removal, simple plumbing, light replacement, etc
• Assist on-site/on-job technicians as needed

Requirements

• Possess knowledge of HVAC equipment
• Education and/or Experience: High School diploma or equivalent required, Technical school with a certificate in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning preferred, Valid WV Class D Non-CDL for Hire driver’s license with excellent record, Current DOT physical for Class D
• Specific Job Skills: Basic knowledge of HVAC principals and mechanical ability, Demonstrated skill in using basic hand tools, Use and promote Safety work practices at all times in accordance to established procedures, Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos, Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required, Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced team environment meeting deadlines, Reasoning, organization, dependability, confidentiality expected

Qualifications

Physical Requirements: Ability to regularly lift and move 25 pounds, frequently lift and move 50 pounds and occasionally lift and move more than 100 pounds, Requires long periods of driving or forklift operation.
