Parts Room Supervisor

About the Role

As an integral member of the Reliability Maintenance Department, the Parts Room Supervisor leads a team of Parts Room Attendants in preparing materials for work orders, managing inventory, and maintaining proper inventory levels to support Cambria’s production facility maintenance operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensures materials for planned work orders are kitted per the weekly maintenance schedule.
• Ensures all materials are received, stored, and inventoried properly.
• Maintains and sets reorder points for inventory in accordance with maintenance needs.
• Supervises a team of Parts Room Attendants, including job training and conducting performance reviews for continuous employee development.
• Creates new material item numbers and receives them into inventory with proper storage.
• Maintains all material items with accurate technical information.
• Maintains asset spare parts lists to ensure they are accurate and up to date.
• Ensures inventory accuracy through cycle counting and other systems.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3+ years’ experience with maintenance, parts, or planning.
• 3+ years’ experience in management or supervision.
• Ability to become certified in operating a forklift, overhead crane, and respirator.
• Ability to read and write in English to complete required documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google applications.
• Ability to supervise employees.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical two-year degree or equivalent experience in parts, planning, or inventory.
• Good organizational, planning, and multi-tasking skills.
• Critical thinking, process, and troubleshooting skills.
• Mathematical and administrative skills.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals, blueprints, and drawings.
• CMMS/ERP software experience.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Push/pull 100 lbs.
• Stand on feet for up to 9 hours per shift with intermittent breaks.
• Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by Cambria.
• Occasionally work in wet and/or humid conditions.
• Work in a non-climate controlled environment.
• Climb in and out of a forklift multiple times throughout shift.
• Walk up and down steps multiple times throughout shift.
• Bend over multiple times throughout shift.

Task-Based Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements

• Steel-toed boots.
• Hearing protection.

Pay

Cambria’s starting hourly range for this position, including shift differential, is $24.00 - $30.75. Hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is based on work location, job-related experience, and relevant education and/or training.
