About the Role
The Parts Room Clerk will keep the parts room organized and ensure all inventory is correctly stored. This role involves computer work, vendor communication, and cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records.
Responsibilities
- Receive and verify materials from vendors
- Create purchase requisitions within the ERP system
- Enter transactions in the ERP system and receive materials
- Unpack and stock materials in the storeroom
- Transact part numbers and quantities into the inventory database
- Issue parts and materials as requested and maintain accurate records
- Monitor inventory accuracy through physical inventories and cycle counts
- Schedule vendor services (e.g., forklift maintenance)
- Research and source parts, tools, and supplies based on company needs
- Collaborate with Maintenance Manager and Production Management to optimize schedules and efficiencies
- Organize resources to maximize productivity
- Communicate repair needs to maintenance
- Maintain constant communication with Maintenance, Production, and vendors to ensure cost-effective planning
- Read, comprehend, and write simple instructions, correspondence, and memos
- Actively participate in meetings and share relevant information
Requirements
- Ability to operate a computer and use word processing, spreadsheet, internet, and database software
- Knowledge of Microsoft D365 preferred
- Forklift operation skills
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) for American money, weight, volume, and distance
- Strong problem-solving and situational handling abilities
- Ability to answer questions and resolve problems in a timely manner with team involvement

Pay
$24.21/hr - $27.78/hr
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 80 pounds
- Ability to closely inspect and monitor production machines
- Regular movement throughout the facility
- Frequent reaching, talking, hearing, and smelling
- Occasional stationary work, climbing steps/ladder, and working in tight spaces
