Parts Room Attendant

Job Description: This position is responsible for tracking and maintaining the supply of spare parts for the Cambria Plant. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain organization of spare parts so that parts are easy to locate and trackVerify all parts are correct, put away and labeled in their given location in a timely manner. Verify inventory system reflects proper information for part quantities and locations. Kit-up parts that are ordered for particular jobs Assist mechanics and other Processing Facility employees with locating parts as neededMaintain documentation of parts that are checked out for repairs. Document the serial number, who the part went out to, and when the part is returnedOrganize and maintain cleanliness of shop bench and kit shelvesKeep work area clean and orderly Perform job duties safely as outlined in the Parts Department Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Additional duties as assigned by management Qualifications and Skills: Ability to become certified in operating a forklift and overhead craneAbility to read and write in English to complete required documentationBasic computer skills Minimum Requirements: Education: High School Diploma or GED Experience: N/A Systems: N/A Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with inventory systemsCritical thinking and troubleshooting skillsBasic math skillsMechanically inclinedIndustrial work experience Cambria Success Factors: High attention to detailReliable and punctual Direct communicationSense of urgency in completing work Capable of multitaskingWork well both independently and with a teamSelf-motivated Physical Requirements: Work at varying heights, including on the rooftop of the buildingsLift up to 60 lbs. Stand on feet for long periods of time during a shift for up to 12 hours, with intermittent breaksWear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by Cambria Participate in daily stretch and flex exercises Work in an outdoor environment in all weather conditions Walk up and down steps multiple times throughout shift Bend over multiple times throughout shift Task Based Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements: Steel toed bootsHearing Protection Safety glassesCut-proof glovesLatex glovesFace shield High visibility vest Cambria’s starting hourly range for this position is $20.00 - $25.63. Hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hires for the position.
