Parts Puller / Delivery Driver

About the Role

Join the Rydell Team at Auto Plus, a division of the Rydell Motor Company, as a Parts Puller / Delivery Driver in Evansdale, Iowa. This full-time, hourly position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, working in a warehouse environment, and providing outstanding customer service. You'll help keep automotive repair shops, dealerships, and customers supplied with the parts they need while supporting the daily operations of our Parts Department. Responsibilities

• Pull, pick, and prepare automotive parts orders accurately and efficiently
• Deliver automotive parts to customers throughout the Cedar Valley area
• Load and unload delivery vehicles safely
• Verify invoices, packing slips, and delivery paperwork for accuracy
• Assist the Parts Manager in locating out-of-stock and special-order parts
• Receive, stock, organize, and label incoming inventory
• Maintain accurate inventory and warehouse organization
• Communicate with customers regarding deliveries and order status
• Provide friendly, professional customer service at every delivery
• Keep delivery vehicles clean, organized, and properly maintained
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and applicable regulations
• Assist with warehouse and Parts Department duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous warehouse, shipping and receiving, delivery driving, inventory, or automotive parts experience is preferred, but not required
• Automotive parts knowledge is a plus
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift and move items weighing at least 40 pounds
• Valid Driver's License with a good driving record
