About the role
AERO Specialties is seeking a Parts Puller to join our dynamic team. This position is responsible for pulling parts for assembly and shipping, ensuring accuracy, quality, and efficient movement around the warehouse/yard.
Responsibilities
- Work hard, complete multiple challenging tasks/projects within agreed time frames, and demonstrate critical thinking and quality.
- Manage daily, monthly, and annual goals through clear, proactive communication and follow-up across all teams, both internal and external.
- Drive continuous improvement by seeking efficiency in all activities.
- Pull parts for work orders according to dispatch/pull lists safely and accurately, moving between production areas, buildings, and yard.
- Ensure product quality by locating parts using an ERP system (LN).
- Operate a forklift and complete associated paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with shipping, assembly, and production teams.
- Maintain a clean work environment.
Requirements
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform tasks such as bending, stooping, kneeling, and crawling as needed.
- Must be able to stand/walk for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to operate a forklift and complete internal forklift training program.
- Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Previous parts and/or aviation experience is a plus.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week on a regular basis.
