Parts Professional Part Time

About the role

Parts professionals provide friendly and quick auto parts sales and service to customers. You will work the parts counter, check in freight, and make deliveries. This position is primarily part-time on weekday mornings until early afternoon, with a rotating Saturday shift from 8-12 one to two times a month. Occasionally, you may be asked to work full 8-hour shifts to cover vacation or sick leave. Full-time work may be arranged for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Offer excellent customer service in-person and over the phone
• Look up parts using computers and reference books
• Process cash and credit card transactions
• Maintain inventory accuracy
• Check in freight and maintain the sales area
• Deliver parts and perform other duties as required
• Ensure customers are taken care of according to store and NAPA policies

Requirements

• Team player with a good attitude
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Able to lift and move parts over 60 pounds
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Able to walk and move constantly
• Able to stoop and reach parts from floor and overhead
• Able to accurately select part numbers and read descriptions
• Valid driver's license

Pay

$15.00 - $21.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule
