Parts Prep Technician/Part Sorter

Job Summary

Support the Nissan automotive production line in the building of quality vehicles. Identify, check, sub-assemble and kit parts to be delivered to the production line for final vehicle assembly. Receive, count and stock parts quickly and accurately. Inspect parts to ensure quality standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Identify, check, sub-assemble and kit parts to be delivered to the production line for final vehicle assembly.
• Receive, count and stock parts quickly and accurately.
• Inspect parts to ensure quality standards.
• Active movement (bend, stoop and move up to 25 lbs.), standing for entire shifts (8 - 12 hours), and working at a rapid pace in order to keep the production line running on time.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse and/or manufacturing experience preferred.

• Full benefits available the first day of the month following 60 days of employment.
• Increases every 6 months until position top-out reached.

Work Conditions

• MUST have two valid forms of ID; one required to be a photo ID.
• Ability to speak, read and comprehend English preferred.
• MUST pass a THOROUGH background check and drug screen (zero tolerance).

Company Information

• Starting hourly pay = $18.57- $20.02 dependent upon shift.
• Paid weekly.
