Responsibilities
- Visit assigned customers regularly and prospect for new accounts.
- Process parts orders, advise on stock or emergency availability, and ensure internal teams are informed.
- Obtain Parts Manager approval for special pricing or unique customer requests.
- Follow up on orders to ensure customer satisfaction and coordinate with Service and Truck Sales departments.
- Maintain accurate customer records, update profiles, and track warranties and credits.
- Attend training seminars as required and act as a public relations liaison for the dealership.
- Maintain your vehicle, ensuring it is safe, clean, and well-maintained, and report maintenance needs.
- Contribute at least 15% of sales from your territory monthly and help manage deliveries.
- Work collaboratively in a team environment and maintain a professional appearance.
- Adhere to and promote all health and safety policies.
Requirements
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree preferred, or 1–2 years of related experience.
- Basic computer skills are required.
- Physical Requirements: Frequent walking and standing; occasional sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling; frequently lift/move up to 25 lbs, occasionally up to 100 lbs.
- Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license required and must meet company insurability standards.
- ASE certification and Medium/Heavy Truck Parts Specialist certification preferred.
Skills
- Ability to read and interpret business, technical, and regulatory materials.
- Write reports and correspondence.
- Effectively present information to managers, clients, and customers.
