Parts Manager - SHV

Primary Job Duties

• Maintains knowledge of company manuals, policies, and procedures related to inventory management for Maintenance Base operations and associated Line, On-Call, Contract, and Substantial Maintenance Parts Departments
• Ensures proper inventory levels of rotable and consumable parts in accordance with established policies and operational requirements
• Oversees Parts department operations and ensures duties and responsibilities of Parts Clerks are performed in compliance with company standards
• Provides and maintains 24-hour, 7-day coverage of Parts operations to support maintenance activities
• Ensures accuracy of inventory under assigned responsibility, including monitoring fill rates and turn times
• Communicates with maintenance base shops to expedite processing and return of parts to stock
• Accounts for total inventory value and maintains accurate counts of both rotable and consumable parts
• Performs additional duties as assigned by the General Manager of Parts, Base and Line

Minimum Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must possess a valid, unrestricted state-issued driver’s license
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED
• Must pass a pre-placement background check and drug screen
• Legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

Physical And Other Requirements

• Lift 75 pounds routinely, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Requires extensive travel
• Proficient in typing
• This is not a Department of Transportation safety-sensitive position
