What You'll Be Doing

  • Pick, transact, count, package, ship, receive, and distribute inventory & material.
  • Physically and systematically move parts between all sequence steps of the part creation process.
  • Fulfill orders for component parts, delivering them to 2nd operations and final assembly departments according to a schedule, and as needed.
  • Complete routine material transactions including sub-transfers, scrap, move orders, ad hoc inventory adjustments and miscellaneous transactions.
  • Inspect, report, and document damages, shortages and/or other errors to appropriate lead.
  • Accurately perform cycle counts and demonstrate ability to diagnose discrepancies.
  • Proficiently use job specific equipment, technologies, and software solutions.
  • Operate warehouse vehicles and equipment such as forklifts, side loaders, utility picking vehicles and powered pallet jacks in the conveyance of materials.
  • Solve and fix common inventory discrepancies.
  • Assist ME Techs with isolation and removal of defective and end of life material.
  • Perform routine maintenance on component wash machines including draining and refilling machines with cleaning solution.
  • Works on department and interdepartmental projects and assignments.
  • Actively seeks feedback and opportunities to learn new skills and improve performance.

Skills and Experience

  • Proficiency with alphanumeric sequences.
  • Basic excel skills.
  • Proficiency with company approved software, office, and warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks etc.) to complete job-related tasks.
  • Ability to interact professionally within a work environment and set an example for others in the areas of multi-tasking, prioritizing workload, showing initiative, meeting quality standards, providing superior customer service and maintaining a positive attitude in an ever-changing environment.
  • Demonstrated consistency regarding attendance, punctuality, and performing work activities in a manner that is consistent with Company policy.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Physical Demands

  • Work takes place in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and chemicals.
  • Ability to use PPE.
  • Ability to stand or sit for long periods.
  • Good manual dexterity, fine motor skills, visual acuity, and ability to use full range of motion.
  • Ability to lift or move up to 40 pounds without assistance.
