About the Role
Responsible for internal customer service for the Service Department, Sales Department, and Controls Department regarding parts. Handles external customer sales and service, including processing customer orders, vendor sales, inventory, purchasing, pricing, warranty, and warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
- Work safely and comply with all safety and health requirements, prioritizing safety for self and others.
- Greet customers and vendors, answer incoming calls, and respond to inquiries to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Assist customers with parts inquiries, including price and availability.
- Collaborate with team members and associates across locations to provide excellent customer service.
- Order parts from Daikin and other sources, arrange shipping, and ensure timely delivery to meet customer needs.
- Deliver parts for Harrison Energy Partners orders as needed.
- Place and bill orders daily, and follow up to ensure shipment.
- Complete and submit warranty claims daily, labeling all incoming warranty parts and forms.
- Review product materials to maintain product knowledge.
- Provide backup support for the Outside Sales team and fill in for other team members at all locations when needed.
- Maintain store and work area, receive and stock merchandise as necessary.
- Assist in the warehouse by pulling orders, loading trucks for Harrison Energy Partners, and filling in as requested.
- Increase knowledge base regarding products and provide technical support for the Parts Department as requested.
- Load, deliver, and set up portable air cooling units for Harrison Energy Partners.
- Perform miscellaneous equipment and facility repairs as needed.
- Provide internal customer service for Harrison Energy Partners Service, Sales, and Controls Departments regarding parts.
- Assist with inventory counting.
- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, plus specialized schooling and/or on-the-job education in a specific skill area (e.g., data processing, clerical/administrative, equipment operation).
- 3 years of parts sales experience.
- HVAC or electrical knowledge or related work experience preferred.
- Intermediate computer skills required.
- Valid state driver’s license, auto insurance, auto registration, and acceptable driving record.
Skills
- Ability to read and understand policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Strong communication skills to interact with all levels of the organization, external vendors, business contacts, existing customers, and potential customers.
- Demonstrate and promote teamwork, continually seeking ways to improve processes and customer service.

Working Conditions
The role involves moderate diversity and physical demands. Work activities are primarily sedentary counter sales and administrative functions but may require diversified physical tasks.
