Responsibilities

  • Picks and scans all material to fulfill a day’s production or runs hot parts for material shortages on the production line.
  • Maintains raw material inventory (parts, supplies, etc.).
  • Moves completed parts into and through production and shipping if needed.
  • Assists in loading and preparation of product for build.
  • Loads and unloads trucks if needed.
  • Properly identifies and locates all parts according to established procedures.
  • Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department leader.
  • Maintains work areas and equipment in a clean and orderly condition, following prescribed safety regulations.
  • Performs all other responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Must be able to physically and mentally maintain daily production goals and deadlines as established by management.
  • Ability to stand for several hours at a time, lift and/or move items over 50 pounds, and perform tasks requiring bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Working Conditions

  • Primarily working indoors in a factory environment.
  • May stand for several hours at a time.
  • Occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme weather conditions.
  • Frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibrations.
  • The noise level in the work environment can be loud.

Physical Demands

  • Regularly required to talk and hear.
  • Very active position requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing throughout the day.
  • Must be able to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Schedule

This is a full-time hourly position. Hours and days of work are decided by production schedules and your reporting manager.
