Parts Driver

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver parts to customers, wholesale accounts, and suppliers.
• Check before leaving to coordinate any last-minute pick-ups or deliveries.
• Absorb and assist with pulling customer order(s) when requested.
• Verify that invoice matches purchase order for each pick-up.
• Check payments received with the invoices for each delivery.
• Keep an accurate log of daily deliveries and pick-ups.
• Request recipient’s signature on each delivery entry.
• Unload truck each night.
• Turn in all paperwork and undelivered parts.
• Help with stocking and posting orders when they arrive to expedite delivery to shop technicians and retail accounts.
• Pull customer orders as indicated on the picking list and place in either will call, package for shipment, or dispatch for delivery.
• Provide assistance in the warehouse as needed.

Education and/or Required Experience

• Previous commercial driving experience required.
• One plus years industry experience.

Compensation & Benefits

• Compensation: $22-$25/hr. Hourly rate will be determined based on experience, competencies, certifications and education.

TransChicago Truck Group is a family-owned, fast-growing dealership group that values curiosity, teamwork, and growth. We are seeking a Parts Driver who will be responsible for delivering parts to customers and for picking up parts from suppliers for the dealership. This role is on the 1st Shift, M-F 8:00AM-4:30PM.
