Parts Driver

About the role

The Parts Driver drives company vehicles to pick up and deliver parts in the local area, transporting products from local parts sources to our dealership. The role requires safe operation of vehicles within legal speed limits at all times.

Responsibilities

• Complies with and enforces all safety and security policies and procedures.
• Follows all company policies and procedures.
• Maintains a safe and secure environment by adhering to safety and security standards and codes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Prioritizes customer satisfaction to support business growth.
• Maintains cleanliness of vehicles and performs routine maintenance tasks (e.g., checking fluid levels, tire pressure, safety checks).
• Obeys posted speed limits and all traffic laws.
• Delivers and picks up parts to/from various locations.
• Builds long-term relationships with customers and vendors.
• Maintains a distribution log or tracking system for all deliveries and pickups.
• Inspects, protects, and maintains company assets, merchandise, and vehicles.
• Demonstrates behaviors consistent with company values in all interactions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Unrestricted, valid California driver’s license with a clean DMV driving record.
• Able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles.
• Basic mechanical skills for minor vehicle maintenance.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Neat, clean, and professional appearance.
• Able to multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Able to safely operate motor vehicles in tight spaces.
• Friendly, high-energy, and willing to go above and beyond.
• Excellent client and customer satisfaction skills.
• Team player with a strong commitment to customers and colleagues.
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and proactive in a team environment.
• Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed.

Bilingual candidates and those with Parts Department experience are a plus.
