JOB DUTIES
- Keep parts department up-to-date on delivery schedule
- Maintain cleanliness and operability of delivery truck
- Obeys all traffic laws and follows established traffic procedures
- Complies with and enforces all safety policies and procedures
- Observe and report customer information, including customer buying habits and competitive intrusion
- Other duties as assigned
- Perform other duties as directed by Management
- Fills customer orders and ready them for delivery
- Verifies the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers
- Loads Parts trucks in a safe manner, securing all items in the bed of the truck
- Retrieves parts returns and reports them to Parts Manager or responsible Counter Person
- Completes vehicle safety checks per company policy and operates the vehicle within the safety guidelines
- Presents bill and receipts and collects payment for goods delivered or loaded
- Pick up parts and equipment from customers, satellite stores, and vendors per schedule
- Follows all delivery and pick-up processes and protocol to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Completes daily order and orders throughout the day if available
- Helps maintain inventory health by participating in cycle counts
- Placing new stock in the proper bin location
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prompt and courteous demeanor
- Valid Driver’s License with Clean Driving record
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must be detail oriented
- Ability to drive vehicles with a standard (manual) and automatic transmission
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
- Unrestricted driver’s license and clean driving record
- Excellent organizational skills
- Able to occasionally lift or move 100 pounds from floor to waist with assistance
- Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
- Proficient computer skills
- Ability to use a smart phone or hand-held device
- A valid in-state driver’s license and a good driving record, per company standards

MONDAY-FRIDAY: 8:00AM-5:00PM - NO WEEKENDS!
