Parts Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate

Responsibilities

  • Unpack received parts and stock/organize shelves, cores, supplies, and other items as necessary
  • Pack parts for shipping
  • Generate pick tickets for orders to warehouse
  • Load and/or unload trucks
  • Perform other duties as needed

Delivery

  • Deliver parts to local customers within the market and record sales/delivery information
  • Inquire about customer needs as related to additional sales, services, etc.
  • Collect money from customers and record transactions on customer receipt
  • Maintain routine maintenance on truck and keep truck clean inside and out, per company policy
  • Perform other duties as needed

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One year of delivery driver/warehouse experience
  • Heavy duty truck or automotive parts knowledge/experience
  • Able to lift up to 50+lbs
  • Able to operate power industrial equipment (e.g., forklifts, etc.)

Physical Requirements

  • The work is active
  • The associate will lift, pull and move heavy duty truck parts at a minimum of 25 lbs. up to in excess of 75 lbs. up to 10% of the time
  • The associate will also have to do the following throughout the day: walking, bending, twisting, stepping, stooping, reaching, lifting, and pushing

  • The associate will be regularly exposed typical inside and outside environmental conditions, including, but not limited to dirt, dust, vibration, minimal chemical hazards, noise and temperature variances
