Parts Delivery Driver (Union Position)

Responsibilities

  • Deliver automotive parts and accessories to wholesale customers, repair facilities, and dealership locations in a safe, efficient, and professional manner.
  • Verify and prepare parts orders for delivery, ensuring accuracy and completeness prior to departure.
  • Receive customer payments, process credit card transactions, handle payments when necessary, and maintain accurate transaction records.
  • Obtain delivery confirmations, customer signatures, and required documentation for all deliveries.
  • Aid in receiving, unpacking, stocking, and organizing incoming inventory shipments.
  • Support parts ordering processes by helping maintain appropriate inventory levels and communicating stock shortages or replenishment needs to management.
  • Process customer returns, warranty parts, and core returns in accordance with dealership policies and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs, invoices, and related paperwork.
  • Communicate effectively with Parts Department personnel regarding delivery schedules, customer requests, and order status updates.
  • Maintain cleanliness and general upkeep of company delivery vehicles and promptly report any maintenance concerns.
  • Adhere to all dealership policies, safety standards, traffic regulations, and union work rules.
  • Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and warehouse organization.
  • Support parts counter operations during peak business periods.
  • Help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment within the Parts Department.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned within the scope of the position.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license for 3 years minimum and clean driving record.
  • Ability to safely lift, carry, and move automotive parts weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Positive attitude, can-do mentality, confident, outgoing personality, eagerness to improve.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Professional attitude and the ability to deliver best-in-class customer service.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work every single day.
