Parts Delivery Driver

Full-time position based in Suwanee, GA.

About the role

Work with the service coordinator to plan daily runs. Prepare and verify orders for delivery. Load, secure, and unload parts and supplies. Pick up and deliver parts to various locations, including technicians in the field and customer sites. Coordinate pick-up and delivery to vendors and technicians at multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a motor vehicle with an excellent driving record
• Safely lift, load, and secure payload
• Navigate the geographical area efficiently
• Maintain strong customer relations
• Exercise attention to detail and multitask effectively
• Perform general care and cleanliness of the company vehicle
• Lift up to 100 lbs., occasionally in excess of 100 lbs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year of technical (mechanical) education or experience
• Must be able to legally and properly operate a motor vehicle
• Must be in good physical condition to bend, stretch, and carry packages, including loading and unloading the vehicle

Work Conditions / Physical Demands

The majority of the workday is spent driving to make deliveries from the home branch to technicians in the field and customer locations. Requires regular lifting and moving of up to 100 pounds, occasionally in excess of 100 pounds.
