About the role

The Parts Department Counterpersons assist customers and employees to select required parts, pull and fills orders, and sets-up orders for daily shipment, delivery or pick-up. They answer telephone calls and provide price quotes and assist outside sales representatives to fill their orders, ensure internal requests are billed on service repair orders, process payments and refunds for customers as well as maintaining records of all repair orders, invoices, insurance estimates, and special-order parts. They replenish inventory daily.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure internal requests are billed on service repair orders.
  • Process payments and refunds for customers.
  • Maintain records of all repair orders, invoices, insurance estimates, and special-order parts.
  • Replenish inventory daily.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years' experience in parts, warehousing or logistics or equivalent.
  • Excellent Customer Service and telephone skills.
  • Intermediate Computer Competency in a variety of programs including MS Office & database programs.
