Responsibilities
- Works closely with purchasing, inventory control, and production teams to maintain efficient workflow and minimize downtime due to parts shortages.
- Maintain accurate records of parts and materials.
- Perform inventory counts and process adjustments as needed.
- Cook up ordering and replenishment of parts, including placing procurement orders with suppliers.
- Process quote requests and customer purchase orders (POs) accurately and efficiently.
- Gather required intake information via email or telephone from customers and internal teams.
- Ensure production teams have the correct components available on time.
- Track incoming shipments and verify accuracy of received goods.
- Prepare required documentation for domestic and international shipments.
- Maintain and update part numbers, inventory data, and documentation in ERP systems.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies such as missing, damaged, or incorrect parts.
- Handle customer and internal issues including credits, reimbursements, and warranty claims.
- Perform accounts receivable follow-up as needed.
- Collaborate with suppliers, purchasing, and warehouse teams to manage supply chain issues.
- Communicate critical shortages, delays, or order updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Analyze inventory and usage trends to support reporting and decision-making.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent with 3+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing, inventory, logistics, or customer service; or an associate degree in a related field, preferred.
- A technical or mechanical understanding is a plus.
- Experience using ERP or inventory management systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) preferred.
- Proficient with computers and software including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and ERP systems.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- A creative, proactive, and idea-driven approach to problem-solving.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with a focus on quality of work.
- Effective time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
