Responsibilities

  • Works closely with purchasing, inventory control, and production teams to maintain efficient workflow and minimize downtime due to parts shortages.
  • Maintain accurate records of parts and materials.
  • Perform inventory counts and process adjustments as needed.
  • Cook up ordering and replenishment of parts, including placing procurement orders with suppliers.
  • Process quote requests and customer purchase orders (POs) accurately and efficiently.
  • Gather required intake information via email or telephone from customers and internal teams.
  • Ensure production teams have the correct components available on time.
  • Track incoming shipments and verify accuracy of received goods.
  • Prepare required documentation for domestic and international shipments.
  • Maintain and update part numbers, inventory data, and documentation in ERP systems.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies such as missing, damaged, or incorrect parts.
  • Handle customer and internal issues including credits, reimbursements, and warranty claims.
  • Perform accounts receivable follow-up as needed.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, purchasing, and warehouse teams to manage supply chain issues.
  • Communicate critical shortages, delays, or order updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Analyze inventory and usage trends to support reporting and decision-making.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent with 3+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing, inventory, logistics, or customer service; or an associate degree in a related field, preferred.
  • A technical or mechanical understanding is a plus.
  • Experience using ERP or inventory management systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) preferred.
  • Proficient with computers and software including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and ERP systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • A creative, proactive, and idea-driven approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with a focus on quality of work.
  • Effective time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
