Responsibilities
As a Parts Clerk, you will be responsible for keeping parts inventory on hand to support our mechanics. Your duties will include:
- Warehouse/Stockroom Inventory cycle counts
- Utilize internal computer program to issue, return, and process parts/tooling from stock
- Drive company vehicle to airport gates for COMAT/AOG and road trips
- Verify, pull, and prepare shipments/receipts
- Data entry, including but not limited to emails, inventory counts, and creating requisitions
- Operating a forklift to load and unload shipments
- Sweep, mop, and maintain the organization of the warehouse/stockrooms
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Be 18 years old or older
- Possess a valid, unrestricted state-issued driver's license
- Have a High School Diploma or GED
- Be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Pass a background check
Preferred qualifications include knowledge of airline parts, but it is not required. You should be a team player, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a quick learner. Computer knowledge is also helpful.
Physical and Other Requirements
This role requires you to:
- Lift 75 pounds routinely, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Be flexible, as the schedule is subject to change
- Be available to work on any day of the week, including nights, weekends, and holidays
This is a full-time position, starting at $19.96 per hour. Note that this is not a Department of Transportation safety-sensitive position.
