Parts Clerk

About the role

Transdev in the City of Victoria, TX, is hiring a Parts Clerk. This position will be responsible for the organization and profitability of the fleet's parts department. This individual will interface with using agencies, vendors, and internal/external customers. Specific attention will be given to operational support, client relations, accountability, and cost/quality of parts. Non-CBA Position.

Pay

Competitive compensation package of minimum $20.00 – Maximum $22.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Order, receive, and stock parts; maintain the storage area
• Computer data entry and pulling reports
• Maintain files and other related records
• Other duties as required

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 to 3 years of parts room experience
• Computer literate with strong attention to detail
• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed
• Subject to DOT drug testing and physical if applicable
• DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason

Physical Requirements

• Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions — 100% of the job is performed outside; work alone and in remote locations
• Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day)
• Frequently walk for long distances and on possibly sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces
• Push and pull objects up to 20 pounds,
