About the Role

Dispenses parts to mechanics and charges parts to specific vehicle numbers.

Responsibilities

• Hands out parts to mechanics and charges out parts in the computer.
• Assists in maintaining accuracy of inventory and parts stocking levels.
• Responsible for the warranty part and core return process.
• Creates purchase order numbers for parts being ordered, enters records, and ascertains types and parts numbers.
• Contacts vendors to order parts.
• Compares invoices received with purchase order numbers on file in the computer.
• Puts away stock orders as they arrive.
• Assists in shipping and receiving for departments as needed.
• Receives and carries out instructions.
• Manages regular and predictable attendance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
