About the role
JDP is seeking a Parts Clerk in the Syracuse, NY area.
Responsibilities
- Read and understand schematics in relation to machines and machine parts.
- Interact with vendors in person, phone, and email.
- Keep track of parts used and parts for reorder in a computer setting.
- Recognize parts on hand in comparison to parts received.
- Stock and restock parts in a well-maintained parts setting.
- Transport parts and materials via work truck in a timely manner.
- Ship, receive, and track incoming and outgoing packages.
- Keep accurate notation of plant necessary materials.
- Prioritize daily tasks in a changing workload situation.
- Assist mechanics in parts retrieval.
