Parts Cleaner

About the role

Eagle Crusher is looking for an individual to join our team that wants to learn and grow with an amazing team. You would have the opportunity to learn other areas within the department. This position performs chemical and mechanical cleaning of parts and other metal products by hand, solvent bath or other processes to remove unwanted materials.

Responsibilities

• Operate parts cleaning equipment to clean parts between processes.
• Perform in‑process cleaning, air drying, and buffing.
• Immerse metal products in chemical cleaning and stripping solutions.
• Clean and maintain cleaning tanks and equipment and monitor chemicals through titration checks.
• Move between production assignments that utilize multiple skill endorsements as needed to support production requirements.
• Observe all applicable safety requirements and report any unsafe conditions or practices.
• Prepare and mask surfaces prior to cleaning.
• Check parts for machining irregularities and communicate any problems to management.
• Review the part information sheet to determine proper cleaning tools.
• Count parts, record quantities, and move parts to the next work center.
• Perform any related duties as required or assigned to ensure efficiency of the Company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience using a grinder, tape measure, forklift, and overhead.
• Strong attention to detail.
