Parts Associate

Full-Time Responsibilities/Duties

• Data entry
• Running a daily purchase order recommendation and ordering all special and stock orders for products that are below the minimum stocking level at the given time of year
• Working knowledge of how to set up new manufacturers, part numbers, product descriptions, product pricing, etc. in the computer system
• Aiding the parts manager/supervisor with tracking inventories
• Fielding and answering calls from customers
• Guiding customers in identifying the correct parts for their equipment and providing expert recommendations when necessary
• Handling customer concerns and complaints with patience and professionalism, ensuring a positive resolution
• Answering customer inquiries and providing accurate information about parts, pricing, and availability
• Performing other tasks as defined by management

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Must be detail-oriented and organized
• The ability to take direction and think on your feet
• A strong ability to multi-task
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer-focused attitude

Credentials and Experience

No previous experience is necessary

Physical Demands

• Employee must possess the ability to lift, carry, push and pull materials and objects weighing between 40-50lbs
• May be required to stand, walk and use hands-fingers for long periods of time
