Parts and Materials Storeroom Attendant

About the role

As our company continues to grow, so does our team! We are looking for dependable and motivated Storeroom Attendants to join our growing organization and support our day-to-day operations. The Storeroom Attendant is responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the storeroom, including the receipt, storage, staging, security, and movement of parts and materials. This position plays an important role in ensuring our employees have the materials and parts they need to keep operations running smoothly.

Schedule

• Hours: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM (12‑hour shift)
• Rotation: 2/2/3 (2 days on, 2 days off, followed by 3 days on)
• Weekend and holiday hours are paid at double the regular rate

Responsibilities

• Parts and material receipts – Opens and receives incoming shipments, verifying that materials and quantities match packing list contents.
• Barcode utilization – Uses bar code scanners, printers, docking stations, and other equipment as required in the documentation of material movement in the storeroom.
• Part and material storage and care – Stores parts and materials in the established locations, conducts routine condition inspections, and performs routine inventory cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Storeroom security – Monitors personnel traffic in storeroom, ensuring unauthorized access to warehouse spaces is reported to the Storeroom Supervisor.
• Staging of materials – Stages materials as required to support work order parts kitting, preparation of items for shipment, or transfer.
• Movement of material – Moves/relocates parts and materials as required using various powered industrial vehicles including a hand truck, forklift, pallet jack, or vehicle.
• Housekeeping – Keeps storeroom spaces clean and walkways/aisles clear of materials or refuse.
